Our founder, award-winning producer Jacob Mosler, has over 20 years of entertainment industry experience. His tenure in the industry has given him the expertise to create over 500 accurate and effective budgets, schedules and tax incentive analyses for film, television, music and multimedia productions. With the experience of Mosler and our associates, you can rest assured that your project is in great hands. The research of everything from current guild and union rates, modern technologies, and sophisticated shooting paradigms will be applied with discerning detail.
Jacob’s expertise is producing feature films in challenging and remote locations and maximizing the creative vision of the director. His vast experience from budgeting to studio deliverables has amassed 16 feature film credits.

Eden- a human-trafficking drama based on true events that won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the SXSW Film Festival in 2012 and Best Film at the Milan International FilmFestival.
Mean Creek – a coming-of-age drama that premiered at Sundance and the Cannes Film Festivals and won the 2004 Sundance Humanitas Award in addition to two Independent Spirit Awards.
Additionally, Jacob’s PSA: P5Y.org “Peace in 5 years” was honored with Telly Awards in two categories.
Jacob is a graduate of the American Film Institute and earned his MFA in Producing in 2000 and became a member of the DGA (UPM) in 2009. In addition to features, he has produced over 30 short films, music videos, commercials and documentaries including the Sundance “Official Entry” Mind Over Matter; and ISLAND FESTIVAL, a 3-day music and arts extravaganza featuring over 30 international musicians and artists.
Mosler began Film Budget Pro in 2008 after creating hundreds of film budgets for friends and colleagues and producing 8 feature films. Jacob’s passion, dedication and experience enable him to give the highest level of service at Film Budget Pro..
